A45 year IT veteran, Christopher has seen it all in the internet age. Known widely as the Virtual Web Master, Christopher was an early player in the affiliate marketing space, developing a significant business selling informational products, before moving into agency marketing services.
Passionate about digital privacy, Christopher has authored a book on the subject and now develops training programmes for people who want to liberate themselves from big tech. Chris lives in rural Queensland with his wife and children, and when he’s not too busy geeking out, enjoys spending time in his food forest.
Biography
With 45 years of experience in IT, Christopher Bennetts has built a diverse career, including more than 20 years in the corporate jungle, before jumping headfirst into the world of digital marketing, with a strong focus on SEO, in the early days of the internet.
During his corporate career, Christopher worked in a variety of roles including mainframe computer operator, application programmer, help desk manager, networking specialist, and IT project manager. His interest in systems development became apparent during this time and has proven to be his key strength throughout his career. He is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
As an early entrant into internet marketing, Christopher developed a partnership with a successful writer, and together they created and sold a wide range of information products, developing a strong affiliate network in the process. This experience laid the foundation for Christopher to pivot into providing internet marketing services as a full-stack developer, including website design, social media management, and SEO.
In recent years, Christopher has developed a series of informational products and coaching programmes for people who wish to liberate themselves from big tech firms. He has developed a strong following as a Digital Freedom Warrior. His following continues to grow.
Christopher is an adviser to agenticus on all things digital privacy related.
